We are based out of Burlington, Wisconsin but will travel where ever your love takes you. Our team has been to Jamaica, Mexico, and all over the US for wedding coverage. We will travel for sessions such as engagement sessions, family sessions, corporate photos, etc. Travel costs vary based on destination. If you're requesting a location that is more than 20 miles from Burlington travel rates start at $20.00. Check out our calendar to see where we will be going next!
For family sessions, couples, and individual sessions we do require a $50 deposit to book your session! For weddings we require a signed photo contract & 25% of your package as a deposit to book your date.
We are a mixed family meaning we shoot with both Nikon & Cannon!
You will see all the images from the session via your proofing gallery. You will then pick your favorite images from your session which we will then edit and finalize for you. Those are the images that you get from your session. Each package includes a different amount of images that comes with your session. That can be 5 - 40 images depending on the package you purchase. You also have the option to purchase any additional images you'd like for $20 per photo ($25 per photo for boudoir and newborn sessions). For wedding photos the process is quite different. Each of our photographers specialize in different categories. Based on the session you are booking with us we will assign your photographer!
Your proofing gallery will be delivered to you within 5 business days from your session. We then ask for you to get your photo order to us within 48 hours to ensure the most timely turnaround. Once we receive your photo order it takes our editor 3-4 business days to complete your order and send you the finalized images via your online gallery! The whole process takes generally 7 business days but sometimes sooner or later depending on how quick you get us your photo selection.
We do offer a military discount which adds a $50 print credit onto any photo package and a $100 print credit onto wedding packages. We also have great referral programs which allow us to gift our clients who refer other people to us!!!
No. We take every measure to ensure consistent style and quality among our photographers. We have developed the unique style you see in our work over the years. Each shoot is reviewed and to ensure our quality and style are consistent. All mistakes, no matter how minor, are scrutinized by the team. We guarantee that the quality and style of photography you receive will be consistent.
We first love to meet with all our couples to learn more about you and your wedding day. If you live out-of-town we can always arrange a video chat to talk the details with you! To book us, we do require a deposit of 25% of your package price and signed contract to book your wedding date with us. Your final payment is due one month prior to your wedding date.
Long story short - No. You're probably shocked but let us explain... Every photo you receive is edited; therefore, we give you the best photos taken from your day. We eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. We don’t expect you to have the expertise or the time to zoom into each image to select the one with the sharpest focus, so we spend hours doing that on our end. Example: candid laughs and emotional tears are some of the best images. Unfortunately, they can also yield some unflattering facial expressions. We might snap a few extras of any of these moments to make sure we have a great shot with the ideal expression for the moment. So don’t worry, we give you the best ones and trash all the half blinks and double chin shots.
We guarantee that you will receive all your finalized images with 30 days or less! We also are known for our sneak peeks on Facebook. This allows you to see a 10-15 image preview before you even leave for your honeymoon! After your wedding our full-time editors will be hard at work editing your images. We will send you updates along the entire process so you can see more and more of your images throughout the weeks following your wedding. All images will be uploaded to your online gallery and we will mail your your USB with the images to ensure our 30 day guarantee!
Pinterest is a great community to find and share ideas, but those are other people’s moments and ideas. You are original and will have your own moments during your photo session/wedding day. We want you to have your own images that are filled with your authentic love & laughter!
We do not discount our packages. We believe that our level of service and photography is worth every penny that it is offered at. We do offer a wonderful military discount that adds a $100 print credit onto any wedding package.

We have a very unique process for client to photographer match up. We do an assessment on each of our clients to match you with your perfect photographer based on personality, availability, language abilities, and your referral. Once we match your photographer we schedule a “Meet & Greet”. This is an opportunity for you to meet your photographer and get to know each other! Then you will have an engagement session where your photographer will get to work with you before the big day! You will then not only be in contact with your photographer throughout the planning process but with our amazing support staff!
We suggest at least 8 hours for the day in order to capture the bulk of the stuff going on! We will always do our best to capture everything but anything less than 8 hours of coverage seems to be rushed. In a perfect world we’d love to have 2 hours to spend on bridal party photos and the romantic shots (just bride & groom). If possible we ask for 2 hours but have been able to do our standard shot list within 1.5 hours. The most popular amount of time couples book with us is 10 hours. This typically allows for those great getting ready shots and party photos!
For a variety of reasons, we have to charge for the time in between events. The fact is, we’re never truly resting during the day, whether we’re backing up images, setting up for the second venue, traveling to the second location, taking venue shots, or making up for lost photo time because of wedding day delays. In many cases, we use that “downtime” to take you and your significant other out for a photo session or more candid shots of your guests.
We understand that not everything goes as planned during a wedding. We never pack up before the contracted time; and moreover we’re not leaving on the dot when the contracted time is up. Instead, we will ask you at the end of your contracted time whether or not you would like to extend. If you would like us to stay, we will charge the rates specified in your contract rounded to the closest 30-minute increment.
We’ve dedicated the entire day to your wedding, so we won’t be racing off to catch other plans that evening. However, we need to charge for additional coverage primarily because there are costs of having the team stay for additional hours. The shooters and lighting assistants all require additional compensation. Furthermore, the additional photos taken will need to be post produced which adds to our overall costs.
Engagement Session Questions
As a wedding client of ours you will receive all the edited photos from your session within 7 days of your shoot! We take the time to perfect the images for you and will email you a link to your gallery once finished! We often times also provide a sneak peek on social media so that's a fun preveiw to your final gallery.
We encourage you to do your engagement session as soon as possible. Since we offer “Save The Dates” we would love to get started on these for you! Typically you can send out your “Save The Dates” anywhere from 1 year in advance up to 6 months prior.
Because most weddings occur on weekends, we typically do not shoot engagement sessions on weekends. Weekdays work best for us but also understand if weekends are the only time that works for you! We also like to shoot on weekdays because locations are typically less crowded. We will always do our best to get your session scheduled to your convenience.
We will send you a link to your online gallery where you can download, share, and order prints! We will also post a handful of the images on our social media. We encourage you to tag yourselves and share the photos!!!
Image Download and Legal Questions
In most cases, you can print your photos up to 20 x 30 without any quality loss. If you’d like to print larger than 20 x 30, additional post-production will be required.
You have the right to reprint images whenever you want! They are your images and moments! You should do what you want with them!!!
Each of our packages comes with a full resolution image download. However, we typically do not provide RAW (unprocessed) files from our shoots because we believe in delivering a finished product. In fact, we’re often shooting with the end (post-produced) product in mind.
Payment and Tax Questions
For family, senior, and other individual sessions we require a $50 deposit to book your session. For boudoir sessions we require 50% down to book your session. And for weddings we require 25% of your package price as your deposit. All deposits go towards your final balance and can be paid in cash, check, or bank transfer.
For individual sessions (such as boudoir, family, senior portraits, etc.) your payment will be due once we receive your photo order form. Often times people purchase additional images from their proof gallery which sometimes adjusts your amount due. Payment is required before we deliver your finalized images in your online gallery. For weddings your final balance is due one month prior to your wedding date. We do accept payments throughout the entire wedding planning process and a lot of our clients love this feature. It makes it more feasible to pay little by little rather than one lump sum at the end.
Cash, check, bank transfer, or credit card (a processing fee will be applied for credit card transactions).
Yes. As we are a small business we do get hit with a rather large processing fee. This is why most of our clients prefer cash, bank transfer or check!
All deposits are non-refundable. Because you buy time from us we set aside our time for you which limits us from taking other bookings. For individual sessions we will work with you if you have to reschedule for weather reasons or other events.
